PACA+™ uses the Microsoft Access Jet Engine (a powerful relational database platform included with the program at no extra charge) so that you will only have to enter your animal information once. It was one of the first to use this relational database approach in a Windows® program designed for Alpacas and Llamas. 

It is currently the ONLY one that is customizable by the user for use with any species of livestock (exotic or not)!

PACA+™ was born from a camelid breeder's wish list. The source of that first list is a breeder who started in 1988 raising Llamas and now raises Alpacas as well.

We released our first version in the first quarter of 1995 (after extensive "Beta" testing) and have since received input and suggestions for improvement from dozens of breeders representing many decades of experience!  Where these new "wishes" met with our goals for the program (see below), the suggestions were implemented.
